Lesley Watson OAA NSAA AAPEI FRAIC LEED AP
Lesley is a registered architect with 30 years of experience. Her area of expertise is the development of research and development facilities, particularly for institutional clients. She received her degree in Architecture from Carleton University’s School of Architecture.
Lesley sat on OAA Council and was the President of the Ontario Association of Architects in 2004. Lesley is the founding and managing partner of WMTA. She established L. D. Watson Architect Inc. in 1990 and grew the business to a Partnership of Corporations, initially as Watson MacEwen Architects in 2000, and to Watson MacEwen Teramura Architects in 2009.
Rick MacEwen OAA NSAA AAPEI MRAIC LEED AP
Rick is a registered architect with 29 years of experience. His area of expertise is the development of programmatically and technically complex projects. His education includes studies in science at Carleton University , fine arts at the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design and architecture. He graduated from Carleton University’s School of Architecture and was awarded the Alpha Rho Chi Medal.
Rick has been actively involved with the Ottawa Regional Society of Architects. He sat on the Downtown Urban Design Review Committee until 2009. He has been a partner since the formation of Watson MacEwen Architects in 2000.
Allan Teramura OAA NSAA AAPEI MRAIC LEED AP
Allan is a registered architect with 22 years of experience. His area of expertise is the development of public buildings and heritage conservation projects. His education includes a degree in Architecture from Carleton University. He received the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada’s Gold Medal for highest overall academic standing.
He completed his internship in the award winning Vancouver firms of Patkau Architects and Henriquez Partners. Allan sat as a member of Local Architectural Conservation Advisory Committee (LACAC) until 2009. Allan is currently a Regional Director of the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada. Allan became partner in 2009.
